# Announcements

> Choose whether tracks are announced and which text channel receives those messages.

## Choose state and channel

`/announce` requires Manage Server. Enable or disable announcements and provide a valid channel; when omitted, the current channel is used when appropriate.

```headless-command Syntax theme={null}
/announce <estado> [canal]
```

```headless-command Example theme={null}
/announce estado: Activar canal: #música
```

> Headless Music needs permission to view the selected channel and send messages and embeds there.
